We have downloaded the new Windows 7 Beta to certain computers, and although we have completed our testing on the most powerful machine, we are still currently working on the average-user configuration.
On my gaming tower, working with a 8800 GT 3GB RAM 3.0 dual core and a RAID array, the operating system ran great, and it appears that most of the bugs that came with Vista have been, or are in the process of being corrected. Since it is a Beta version we were testing, we won't rate it yet, but the prospects of this new OS are looking good. Let's go Microsoft! |
